How To Wake Yourself Up

How to Wake Yourself Up

Today’s Roman Roads
In the same way Paul used the Roman roads to spread Christianity we have the Internet; the largest library in history.  Today, there’s an ease of recording live events anywhere on the planet.  It seems everyone carries a recording device these days, whether a smart phone or camera.  Information is easy to record, document and access.  And there is a worldwide army of on-the-ground reporters, bloggers, witnesses and regular people that cover just about every single event on the planet.  So, why do we ignore these first-hand reporters and instead listen to mainstream media that ignores important stories while feeding us segments on the latest diet craze or current reality stars?

Have we fooled ourselves into thinking we know what is happening in the world because we watch mainstream media?  As you discover the truth about what is really happening in the world, you’ll realize mainstream media rarely covers it fairly, if at all.  The Internet does, however.  Is there garbage on the Internet?  You bet there is.  But the Internet also provides access to just about every book, article, interview, news story, testimony and documentary ever made about any subject.  Ever.  To ignore the power of the Internet because it contains some bad information is like throwing away a free Porsche because there is a candy wrapper on the seat.

Let’s face it.  Our mainstream media was lost to dark forces a long time ago.  They will never connect the dots for you.  In fact, they may even be trying to keep you from connecting them for yourself (but that’s another story).  It’s as if they willingly keep the people in a state of ignorance.  So, if you ever want to wake up, you’ll need to do it yourself.

Connecting the Dots
I discussed this idea with my friend Kirk a few years back.  He’s highly intelligent and a self-made, successful entrepreneur.  Among several points he raised, one was particularly intriguing to me.  He told me that assembling this alternate view of reality would be like a creating a Seurat painting.  “What’s a Seurat painting?” I asked.  I would come to find out he was a French post-impressionist painter best known for his development of pointillism (creating pictures with dots).

Kirk talked about one of Seurat’s most famous paintings, “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte,” made up of thousands of little dots.  It hangs at the Chicago Institute of Art, measuring about 10 feet by 7 feet.  If you stand really close to it, all you can see are a few meaningless dots.  But as you back away, you begin to see parts of the picture you could not see before.  If you back enough away, you can see the whole thing.

I thought the metaphor was perfect.  It was a great way to tackle such a large idea.  If that painting represents reality, right now as a people, we are standing one inch from the canvas.  We can only see a few dots, which represent our private world; our private reality.  But the panorama of the whole picture escapes us.  In order to understand this whole story, we are going to have to back far away and connect a whole bunch of dots.

If you go far enough to get your own answers to these ideas, it will lead to your eyes opening.  It will be an awakening; a new level of awareness.  You have to get your own answers, though.  Don’t just listen to what I say.  In order to believe something that is unbelievable, you’ll need to see it for yourself.  Do your own research on the questions I pose below.  Don’t trust any single source.  Even if some of the dots are “black” (wrong conclusions or not enough information), as you back away, you’ll still be able to see the whole picture.

Seven Things to Consider When Researching
1.  Allow your beliefs to be determined by your knowledge as opposed to your knowledge being determined by your beliefs.  Most of us have predetermined beliefs and anything that happens in the world has to fit around that existing belief system.  True knowledge lies in being able to synthesize information without preconceived beliefs, to be open even when information comes along that diametrically opposes those beliefs.

2. Don’t accept or reject any one piece of information blindly, whether it supports your own beliefs or not.  Question, test and/or corroborate.  Don't adopt any one person's idea or single source of information blindly.  See other viewpoints and use your own thinking.  Not all experts, even if popular and honest, see the whole picture.  And frankly, that includes me, too.  Use your own eyes and your own mind.  Come to your own conclusions after looking at the evidence for yourself.  Trust your own intuition and be careful not to let others tell you what to think about something.

3.  Understand the real burden of proof.  If you watch five interviews of 9/11 insiders and come across one that is a hoax, do you toss out the other four?  Do you understand that if only one of the insiders is telling the truth, it is the biggest story of the century?  We shouldn’t be looking to throw out the truth upon finding a lie, as so many do.  Don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater.

4.  Assimilate information with an open mind.  There’s a story (which I am sure I am not telling properly) about a bunch of ants that tried to figure out what this massive object was that just appeared near their colony.  A bunch of researcher-ants were dispatched to inspect different parts of this thing.  Upon their return, each gave a report of what they saw.  One described a weapon made of white glass.  Another described a huge crane on one end of the structure.  The third described massive support beams with an enamel base coating.  Yet another described a roof made of large flaps.  And so on.  Each was certain of what they saw so a heated argument broke out.  Finally, the wise old ant intervened, “After listening to all of your stories it’s obvious that you are looking at an elephant, but from different points of view.”  In other words, don’t make the mistake the ants made.  Put the whole picture together before drawing conclusions.  If you don’t follow any one person, you won’t get stuck inside their worldview, even if they are very convincing.  This rabbit hole may go deeper than you realize.

“There is nothing so powerful as truth, and often nothing so strange.”- Daniel Webster

5.  Stay inside each subject until you know it and feel it.  If you are on the right track, there’ll be more questions than answers.  Get those answers as well.  Follow the chain of questions.  After spending enough time in a topic, you’ll understand the truth of it.  Once there, move on to the next one.  Truth-tellers will tell you to open your eyes and look for yourself.  Deceivers will tell you what to think or tell you not to look at all.  The difference, seemingly minor, is the difference between the path of good and evil.  This blogger is not telling you what to think.  He’s imploring you to open your own eyes.

6.  See through confusion and disinformation.  It gets easier with practice.  Don’t dismiss an idea because someone official-sounding has a counter point.  With time, you'll learn to spot disinformation agents.  Some mean well, some don’t.  We’ll take a look at these guys through the eyes of 9/11.  They come in several forms:

6.1:  The Thought Leader.
This guy reiterates 95% of the conspiracy to the satisfaction of other truth seekers, but then adds something utterly ridiculous, making you want to discredit the entire idea.  Some of these guys may have good intentions, but as I said earlier, I wouldn't follow any one person too closely.  Examples: Glenn Beck, Alex Jones, David Icke.

6.2:  The Ranter.
This guy is like Bill O'Reilly on Fox.  There are tons of them.  They bring real experts on to their shows wanting to question the official government story.  And instead of letting them talk, these TV hosts childishly call them, "loons" or "whack-jobs" while making them seem anti-American.  In the clip below, Bill O-Reilly thinks anyone questioning the official 9/11 story is crazy and even suggests anyone saying such a thing should be checked out by the FBI

6.3:  Outright Deceivers.
These are the people that the masses trust.  It includes some politicians, business people, media personalities, but not all.   They will do or say anything they are told to stay in power, which is what makes them dangerous.  Not all are famous politicians.  It also includes some the masses have no reason to distrust.  Some pose as defectors of secret organizations claiming to have inside information or things like that.  It get's easy to spot these guys with experience.

6.4:  The Real Conspiracy Theorist.
This guy may have some or even the full picture and is usually well-meaning.  Problem is many of them put horrible or generally inappropriate music into their videos, turning people away.  Or, some broadcast from their mom's basement with a bunch of anti-government stickers all over the walls and a bong in the background.  They wear the foil hats.  All I have to say is don’t shoot the messenger.  They may not all come wrapped in a package pleasing to your eye.  It's enlightening to understand how people from all other walks of life see this coming deception.

What does a conspiracy theorist look like?  That's me on the right.  Do I fit the mold?

7.  Google and YouTube are good places to start.  Type in your own search terms.  I will leave you with a list of 26 Questions to get you started.  Each is a clue to the bigger picture.  Do your own research and see where it takes you.  Let the dots be filled in even if you don’t see the bigger picture yet.  Look beyond mainstream media, which has been hiding the truth from you, but don’t ignore it either.  Frankly, there is a lot of information in how something’s not covered.

In Closing
Get your own answers to these questions.  Each represents a few dots to be connected.  Think about each one critically and without the blinders of an existing belief system.  Remember the ants looking at the elephant?  Even though it may not appear this way now, all these ideas are ultimately related.  After 4000 hours of research, I can tell you the answer to each question will give you a single peak behind the curtain of our reality.  It is only one view, though.  To see the whole elephant you’ll need to invest your time and connect many more dots.  This is only a start.

Frankly, by the time anyone really digs in and answers these 26 questions for themselves, your belief system may already by changing.  It’s uncomfortable but it will pass if you continue learning.  I don’t mean to be melodramatic, but waking up is a life-changing event.  It’s like trying to describe love.  You can’t.  You just have to experience it.  The same applies here.  Some parts are hard, just like love.  And some parts are life-changing, just like love.  You just have to experience it for yourself.  And the only way to do that is to spend the time and look.  Enlightenment is in front of you if you want it.

Matthew 7:7-8 - “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”
